X-Y Crane Systems
Met-TrackTM light cranes, monorails and other material handling systems are designed and engineered to meet today's industrial needs.
They are shipped ready to assemble. They're self-supporting and require no attachments that could add stress to walls and ceilings as with truss reinforced tracks. Met-TrackTM can span 30 feet between support centers; longer spans are also available.
Met-TrackTM systems are available in four different track profiles that have load capacities from 250 lbs. to 4000 lbs. Systems are available with a range of standard support brackets, which make it possible for a crane, monorail or overhead conveyor to accommodate any size building.
Met-TrackTM X-Y Crane systems are much easier to operate than a patented track or an I-beam system. Other points of difference include:
- Ergonomic design
- Sealed bearings on all wheels
- Profile and end truck design eliminates crabbing and binding
- Strength/weight factor is far superior to anything in a track or I-beam system
